Curriculum Vitae

Born in Australia, Anna Lefevre studied undergraduate literature and media studies and after gaining a subsequent teaching qualification from Melbourne University in 2002 (English and media studies), she then taught English, literature, media and photography at secondary school level in Melbourne, Australia for 10 years.
Anna taught secondary English language in Istanbul for a year before moving to Munich and teaching at the Volkshochschule, in private language schools and businesses and at the TUM for eight years. Anna has also been assessing English A literature exams papers for the International Baccalaureate since 2013.
Anna received a Master’s degree in English Studies from the LMU (with a focus on TEFL) and joined the TEFL chair in 2021 as a research associate and is pursuing her PhD examining mindfulness in the English language classroom.
