Curriculum vitae:

Xiao Zhang obtained her Master degree in English Studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) (with a focus on Linguistics and TEFL) in 2018. From April 2019 to December 2022, Xiao conducted a mixed-method study design in her PhD project with an aim to explore English language teachers’ beliefs and teaching practices in intercultural communicative competence in Chinese Universities.

In May 2023, Xiao joined the Chair of TEFL at LMU Munich as a postdoctoral research associate.
